Today, I will briefly introduce the matters needing attention when installing a horizontal axial flow pump . I hope it will be helpful to everyone.
1. The installation position of the horizontal axial flow pump should meet the requirements of the allowable suction height. The foundation must be level and stable to ensure that the rotation direction of the power machinery is consistent with the rotation direction of the horizontal axial flow pump.
2. When the horizontal axial flow pump and the power machine are connected by shaft, the manufacturer of the mixed flow pump must ensure that the shaft center is on the same straight line to prevent vibration and single-sided wear of the bearing when the unit is running;
3. If the belt drive is used, the axes should be parallel to each other and the belt wheels should be aligned.
4. If there are multiple units in the same machine room, there should be a distance of more than 800mm between the units and the units, and between the units and the wall.
5. The suction pipe of the horizontal axial flow pump must be well sealed, and the elbow and the gate valve should be reduced as much as possible. The air should be exhausted when the water is filled and the air should not accumulate during the operation. The inlet of the flow pump is connected, and the inlet should have a certain submerged depth.
6. The reserved holes on the basis of the horizontal axial flow pump should be poured according to the size of the horizontal axial flow pump.
Structural characteristics of horizontal axial flow pump:
1. Low speed, generally within 980r / min, running smoothly in accordance with the crystallization process requirements.
2. Excellent hydraulic performance, efficiency> 70% wide high-efficiency zone, good anti-cavitation performance.
3. Consider that the direction of pump medium flow is vertically downward and horizontal. The huge impact of water flow on the pump shaft has added a pump shaft jacket protection device in the pump body. The subduction force of the medium is transferred to the pump body, thereby ensuring the stable operation of the pump, greatly reducing the influence of the medium on the mechanical seal force, and extending the service life of the machine seal. The improvement of this structure has taken a big step in the domestic similar products. In addition, the pump body adopts integral casting, which has good rigidity, and the intermediate support structure is connected stably. The horizontal axial flow pump has no guide vanes.
4. The bearing housing is a square long-span heavy structure with good stability, strong bearing capacity, reliable operation, and convenient and accurate installation compared with similar domestic products (the original domestic bearing housing was a split type). Both front and rear ends adopt radial short cylindrical bearings and heavy-duty paired bearings.
